The BBC Nature Sound Effects Library is an extensive collection of 18,368 royalty-free sound effects recorded by BBC's top sound engineers from the late 1960´s on. Never before released, this library contains seventy categories of nature, ambience and animal sound effects that cross borders and span the globe. Sounds include Apes from Borneo, ice cracking in Alaska, Killer Whale sound effects from Norway, Ethiopian Baboons and thousands more.

All sounds in the BBC Nature Sound Effects Library were recorded by BBC´s top sound engineers from across all corners of the globe. This library is delivered as 16/44.1 broadcast .wav files and contains rich, embedded metadata for pinpoint sound effects searches. All sound effects are descriptively named and intuitively categorized in folders so you can easily browse.
